In memeory of March 12 2002 we went to Blairsville Ga and placed flowers on his grave. Keep remembering prayers for him and how drugs can destroy a wonderful life. Thanks so much to all of you who loved our Little Man.

Cranford H. Nix, Everywhere I go people LOVE YOU! I am forever grateful of all the characters I have met because of you. I love you brother, you will ALWAYS be in my heart. Thanks for all you've done for so many. It's sucks that you had to go to be able to help other people in this life. You are gone but not forgot! Yours is a spirit that will live forever.
Peace,
Bob

When I listen to your tunes, I feel like you're still living somewhere...

well I guess this is kinda weird to me .. I have not seen Cranford or talk to him in like 21 years .. I met him and Bob in Hollywood when they first arrived and we hung out alot. Was really strange to find out of his passing and kinda made me reminise on the times I did have with him looking at the photo gallery you all have of his life .. very awesome.Crandford moved in with me for a short time before he went up to San Fransico ..we talked for a lil bit when he got up there and lost communication shortly after . I have a bunch of pictures in storage of him and I. Will have ta look for them and post for all to see what I have .. I took this really good picture pf him and had it blown up to give to himon him birthday the following year, but never got the chance. Well anyway thought I woudl put my 2 cents in .. I might not have known him as long as all you all have .. but I did have him a short period of time .. and we had a blast . I am sorry for the loss his wife and son had to endure .. a disease that takes away our loved ones.. I knwo all to well I have lost a few to it . GOd Bless you all .. and Peace finally be with you .. my long ago friend ..

I just copied your music for our drummer, tomorrow I will find out what he thinks of it. Since you & me grew up on almost exactly the same stuff, I think he'll love it. If not, he's not the drummer for us.
I've been clean for around two years now so I think I'll be here for a while, Cranford. When I do go though, I want you to meet me with a guitar & a keg so we can have a jam session & some laughs. Thanks again, Tim, for this site.
I think we could have been long lost brothers,

Miss you as much today as the day I found out you were gone. So many things remind me of you: pink guitars, gold lemay, red fieros, the rolling stones music and that first tattoo, "sexy steven tyler", Berkley, trick birthday candles...Every where I turn there is a memory ensuring you will never be forgotten. See ya in the next life Little Man. And thanks to your friends that put this site together. Just found it. It makes me happy to see you had so many people that cared about you.

Cranman,
Hey little brother, I miss you too...... I have not gone one day without your damn little lying eyes running thru my head. I have made a choice to uphold your memory everytime I have a drink or pick up my beloved 11 string guitar with your name across the front. As always I'm a day late and a dollar short on the b-day wishes ( a few days actually ). You are still a character indeed. Stealing a devils dick is about what I would expect from my practical joking buddy! ( Thanks for the great story Dre ) One of the Last times we played, you made a comment about how shows always seem to go bad when you play places that have deers heads mounted on the wall. I remember you telling me that if they had some good ass mounted on those walls that they really would have loved our scrappy version of the Stones "Jump on top of me". But instead we were stuck with a few drunk dickheads who wanted to hear Last Kiss by Pearl Jam. We then decided to play Sorry Bout My Drinkin' for which they kicked us out of the bar because of the opening line of the song. I have only been thrown out of 2 bars while performing in my life and damnit, you were with me both times. Long live Rock, and Long live Cranford Fu*#!%g Nix!
Sleep well tonight my friend as you are loved more than you will ever know........

Last night at band practice, we did a toast to you, my friend. We opened practice with the Xmas song and closed practice (joined now by Richie Neckbones) with Too Many Problems, Born To Lose and Fading Fast. It was awesome. I think you would have liked it.
